My particular passion is for helping leaders to flourish, realise their potential, and create a more positive experience of the workplace for their people. Coaching individuals to gain insights that help them to identify and unlock barriers to performance, find meaning in their work and become their authentic self, regularly features in my work.
I’m also fascinated by the interaction between organisational expectations and an individual’s personal drivers and beliefs and how these dynamics can affect performance and its sustainability over time. I have over 20 years experience in HR, talent management, leadership development and coaching in global multi-nationals. Typically my remit has involved orchestrating organisational change and developing leadership capability and the talent pipeline. My experience of coaching has been on both sides of the organisational table – as an internal and external coach, and as a buyer of coaching services – so I’m familiar with the challenge of managing the differing demands of the organisation and individual for coaching outcomes.
Currently I am studying for an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology, a branch of psychology that has the potential to transform the lives of individuals, families and organisations. In addition I am a certified psychometrician, working with MBTI and FIRO-B.
I’m an enthusiastic runner and hiker and a novice skier: all necessary to counterbalance my love of sharing good wine with my husband and baking with my young daughter!
